Budgets Don't Budge the Deficit

So the Chairman has sent his "Magical Mystery Budget" to Congress. 3.7 TRILLION dollars, which, by the way, adds to the deficit; to the tune of a record 1.65 Trillion in overspending for the rest of FY 2011. Of course, it's made all better by only spending 1.1 Trillion more than we take in for 2012. Whew... And here I thought we were going the wrong way... Wait... I'm a little confused. The title of this post is a link to a FOX News story, where you can find more detail on the budget.

Let me get this straight; for the rest of FY 2011, and all of 2012, 2.75 out of 3.7 TRILLION dollars we spend will be money we don't have? Really Chairman? Really? Any of you Libs still wanna talk about Regan writing bad checks? 74.324 (repeating of course) percent of the Chairman's budget is ghost money.

And where shall we get this money that doesn't exist? We'll borrow it from CHINA. Oh, but that's OK, 'cause China needs us greedy Americans, right? They make it, we buy it, right? Here's something Katie and the rest of the media Obamaniacs don't like to talk about; for about the last ten to fifteen years, China has very subtly, but most assuredly, been weening their populous into consumerism. So what the Chinese make, the Chinese can buy... Almost 2 billion Chinese... They don't need a measly 300 million round eyes to buy their stuff. Not to mention all the Chinese students who have gotten mostly free educations here in the USA, heading back to China to use those educations. Good call, former President Carter... NOT.

The Chairman appointed a committee to help him right the budget ship. They sent him a package with 4 Trillion dollars in REAL deficit trimming cuts. How many of those recommendations made it into this monetary sleight-of-hand? NONE. Now, I can't find any figures, but I'm gonna bet that we didn't hire this Blue-Ribbon, BI-PARTISAN gaggle of economic think-tankers for a handful of magic beans. This cost us phat Benjamins, and what is our return on investment? BUPKIS, NADA, NOTHING, ZILCH. It's OK, we'll just borrow that money from China, too.

So, we wanna build a high-speed rail system no one will use, pour more money into our bottomless educational system (again, thanks Jimmy C.), and keep up the "Going Green" B.S. All these programs and many more will be paid for by raising taxes on the rich; cutting tax breaks for oil, gas, and coal producers; and of course the very Clinton-esque Defense Spending Hack-a-Thon. Oh, and if we're "Going Green", why are we cutting the budget for the Great Lakes restoration funds? Not very enviro-friendly of the Chairman, huh?

This country is too geograhically large to support a "Bullet Train" system, period. If you really wanna save money, ELIMINATE the U.S. Dept of Education. It has done nothing but lower the standards of our kids' educations, and turn the NEA into another UAW. If green energy was so feasible and popular, wouldn't it really have taken hold by now? Nice as a supplement, but until the lies about nuke power stop, we will never have truly sustainable clean energy (or a viable means of deep-space travel for that matter).

Instead, TAX THE RICH!!! YEAH!!! TAX THOSE GREEDY BASTARDS!!! Ummm... Those greedy bastards SIGN YOUR CHECKS, MORON! If greedy bastards have less money to pay you with, they aren't going to take a paycut to keep you around... Get it? TAX THE SHIT OUT OF THE OIL/GAS/COAL COMPANIES!!! YEAH, TAX THOSE OIL-SPILLIN' BASTARDS TO HELL!!! OK, but when they leave, and take all those jobs with 'em, don't come cryin' to me. CUT DEFENSE SPENDING!!! YEAH, SCREW THOSE WAR-MONGERS!!! Except, at least two of the projects our fearless (gag) leader wants to cut, are two of the few projects in military history to come in better than on-time AND under budget... makes a lot of sense... I guess..(?) Maybe not.

Oh, don't mention this, 'cause it's kind of a secret, but, no entitlement programs are mentioned as places to make cuts. We just wanna keep paying out welfare to people who produce nothing, keep paying BILLIONS in fraudulent Medicaid/ Medicare charges, and totally ignore the one group of rich folks we should go after - Millionaire Social Security receipients. Listen Gramps, if you've got millions from whatever you did before you retired, you don't need the hundreds you get per month from Social Security, you greedy F*&K... Other people do, and will in the future.

So, in a nutshell; we're gonna increase spending more than we are going to cut spending, we're gonna cut things that work and continue to implement things that don't, and somehow that's gonna balance the budget, and we'll be "paying the bills" by the middle of the decade.

Forgive me a bit of skepticism, won't you?

Peace, Love, and BEND OVER!!!
