Wow, what a busy weekend... Saddam's gonna hang, Doogie Howser's gay, and apparently the SULBD's CAN get more whacko. Please check out NetScrewie.com's home page... Bush admits the war in Iraq was all about oil!!! Of course, that may have been taken slightly out-of-context.
This link will take you to a Op-Ed by Orson Scott Card on RealClearPolitics.com... Orson says he's a Dem, who was lost to his party when they gave Joe Lieberman a political "Wet-Willie". It's a great explanation, BY A DEM, of why we need to stay the course in Iraq. He takes a few un-necessary shots at Bush Sr., and Reagan, but I just read past those. Quick disclaimer, here... I don't know how Clear the Politics on RealClearPolitics can be, as they have an Op-Ed from Howard Dean posted... AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! (Howie's '04 Battle-Scream). Orson also urges voters to deny any candidate who has been spouting the "Timetable for Withdrawl" position.
Why is it, that during the most important mid-terms in decades, I can't stop hearing about Madonna's adoption, Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's, or whatever trash Hollywood is spewing? I imagine alot of it is Hollywierd helping their Donkey-People friends distract us from the real issues, as most Donkey-People don't want us to know that they have no comprehension of the real issues. They're just happy thinking they have us all snowed with their rigged poll numbers... Hey, I know where to call to get the answers I want, too... That's why the major polling peeps have all been sucked up by the major media outlets, so they can tell you what they want you to hear. Pollsters know exactly where every prefix they're calling is located, why do you think I never get calls from them? Because I live in a republican-heavy, fairly-well-to-do town with one prefix, one easily eliminate-able prefix. Throw in that many polls are now done online, where the SULBD's live, and you get the perfect Lib-Pollster storm. Also, most people of a more conservative nature, tend not to even bother with polls. Tomorrow will be much less dramatic than the Donkey-People think... Lots of "Status-Quo", if you will. Oh, a good number of people are still zombified enough to let the mainstream sway them, but I think the career politicians, on both sides, have most of us pissed-off enough to start voting our minds, and not their version of what we should think. At least I hope.
My only solice in that the Packers lost again (nice play-calling McCarthy), is that the un-godly overrated Bears did too. Hmmm...I think the Packers were able to beat the Dolphins....
Let's see, coach Mc, the slant pass was picked off once for a TD, batted down twice, and should have been picked at least one more time...Now, first and goal at the one, Ahman Green, and Noah Herron just ripped off three runs for about 50 yards to get you here... Do you.....?
A. Run the ball at least once... or
B. Throw the covered-like-a-blanket slant pass....AGAIN... Into double coverage.
TED THOMPSON...LISTEN TO MY WORDS.... YOU DON'T HIRE THE WORST OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR IN THE LEAGUE TO BE YOUR HEAD-COACH....PERIOD. By the way, is Al "Toast" Harris still looking for more money?
Remember to get out there, and vote tomorrow. If you don't vote, you can't bitch.
Peace, Love, and the 46 Lead

Stu,
While I didn't like the slant call, looking at the way Buffalo was lined up (8 guys in the box, 3 on receivers) I think a pass, play action pass, would have been an approprate call.
BTW, look at the stats, the offense was chugging along quite nicely (421 yards), if you pull the 4 turnovers out.
Bill Walsh would look like an offensive idiot with the current, and last years, 49er's team so I cut McCarthy some slack on that point.
As for the politics end of it, the Dems lost a lot of folks they haven't realized yet when they let the Kosites take over the party.
Hey, it's been 15 months since you posted something here, little bro!
